Manufacturing Excellence

Precision Built. Rigorously Tested. Ready for the Stage.

Every Guide Visual product goes through the same disciplined process — from raw components to a fully aged, tested cabinet that is ready to perform under real-world conditions.

Production Lines

We operate 2 fully equipped production lines, each following a strict sequential assembly process with quality checkpoints at every station.

Assembly Process:

① PCB Soldering — Surface-mount components are soldered under controlled temperature and inspected for cold joints or misalignment before moving forward.

② Module Assembly — LED modules are mounted onto the cabinet frame with precision alignment. Each module is checked for pixel uniformity before installation.

③ Cabinet Integration — Modules, power supplies, receiving cards, and HUB boards are assembled into the final cabinet structure. All internal connections are verified.

④ Wiring & Connector Check — Power and signal connectors are tested for continuity and secure fit. Dual-backup wiring is confirmed functional on both primary and backup paths.

⑤ Initial Function Test — Every cabinet is powered on and run through a full-color display test before moving to the aging lines.

Aging Test Lines

Passing assembly is not enough. Every cabinet must survive our aging process before it is approved for shipment.

We run 4 dedicated aging test lines operating continuously at full brightness and full color load — simulating the most demanding live event conditions your cabinet will ever face.

  • 24-hour minimum burn-in per production batch
  • Full-brightness, full-color continuous operation throughout aging
  • Any unit showing anomalies is immediately pulled, diagnosed, repaired, and re-tested from the beginning
  • Only units that complete the full aging cycle without issue are cleared for shipment

Why aging matters: Component failures almost always appear in the first hours of operation — not after months of use. Our aging process forces those failures to happen in our factory, not on your stage.

Quality Before It Leaves Our Doors

Before shipment, every order goes through a final inspection:

  • Full cabinet power-on test
  • Pixel uniformity and brightness consistency check
  • Signal input/output verification (primary and backup paths)
  • Physical inspection of locks, connectors, and corner protectors
  • Factory test video sent to customer before cargo is released

The result: When your cabinets arrive on site, they are ready to work. Not ready to be tested.

OEM/ODM

Whether you need higher brightness for outdoor festivals, a specific cabinet size for your existing rigging system, or flight cases in your brand colors — Guide Visual handles it from specification to delivery.

What we can customize:

  • Brightness — Standard or high-brightness configurations (up to 8,000 nits for outdoor applications)
  • Cabinet size — Non-standard dimensions available to fit your existing installation or rigging setup
  • Flight case — Color options (black, red, yellow or custom), foam layout, and labeling
  • Pixel pitch — Select the resolution that fits your typical viewing distance
  • Branding — Your logo and brand identity on the product and packaging
  • Control system — NovaStar or Colorlight, configured to your preference

How it works: Share your requirements → We send a custom proposal within 48 hours → Sample available before bulk order → Dedicated project manager assigned to your order through delivery.

Minimum quantity varies by customization type. Contact us to discuss your project.

R&D

Research & Development

Innovation That Performs Under Pressure.

At Guide Visual, R&D is not a department — it is how we think. Every product we build starts with one question: what does a rental professional actually need on show night?

Designed for the Rental Industry — Not the Showroom

Most LED displays are designed to look good in a catalogue. We design for what happens when the show starts and something goes wrong.

That means every engineering decision — from the flexible module structure to the plug-in power box, from the dual signal backup to the HUB board direct connection — comes from real problems reported by real rental companies running real events.

Core R&D Focus Areas

① Flexible Curved Display Technology Our GS series flexible curved cabinet is the result of years of module-level R&D. The accordion-fold back structure allows each 250×250mm module to bend independently, enabling both convex and concave configurations up to 40° total curvature — without stressing the LED surface or compromising pixel uniformity.

② Plug-In Power Box Architecture Traditional LED cabinets require tools, time, and a technician to diagnose a fault during a live event. We engineered a fully self-contained plug-in power box — housing the power supply, receiving card, and HUB board in a single removable unit. On-site fix time: under two minutes.

③ Dual Signal Backup System Signal loss during a live broadcast or concert is not an option. Our dual signal input/output architecture provides independent primary and backup signal paths. If the primary path fails, operators can manually switch to the backup port immediately — no downtime, no dark screen.

④ HUB Board Direct Connection Conventional cabinets rely on ribbon cables between the receiving card and LED modules — each cable is a potential failure point. Our HUB board design eliminates unnecessary cabling by connecting modules directly through the board, reducing internal complexity and improving long-term reliability.

⑤ High Refresh Rate Engineering Achieving 7680Hz refresh rate at production scale requires careful matching of driver ICs, power delivery, and signal timing. Our engineering team optimizes each product's refresh parameters for camera-friendliness — so your screens look flawless in broadcast and photography, not just to the naked eye.

Built on 16 Years of Field Feedback

Our R&D process is directly fed by customer feedback from deployments across Korea, Germany, Sweden, Israel, Mexico, and beyond. When a rental company tells us their crew struggled with a connector during a night-time setup, we redesign the connector. When a broadcast client needs zero flicker at 1/8000s shutter speed, we re-tune the refresh cycle.

This is why Guide Visual products look and feel different from generic factory output — because they are.

Continuous Improvement

Every product generation at Guide Visual is tested against the previous one. We do not release an update unless it measurably improves at least one of the following:

  • Assembly speed on-site
  • Fault recovery time during live events
  • Pixel uniformity across the full cabinet face
  • Weight reduction without structural compromise
  • Signal stability over extended operating hours

Guide Visual R&D — Engineered for the stage. Proven in the field.
