In rental LED display applications, LED lamps are easily damaged during transportation, installation, or dismantling. A single collision may cause dead pixels, lamp failure, or expensive maintenance costs.
To improve durability, Guide Visual applies different LED protection technologies based on application requirements, especially Dot Glue and Hard Glue processes.
Dot Glue technology is commonly used for small-pitch LED displays such as P1.2–P2.97.
The glue is applied between LED lamps while keeping the lamp surface exposed. This improves lamp stability and provides moderate protection against minor impacts.
Advantages of Dot Glue:
Typically, a single LED lamp can withstand approximately 1–2kg of static force.

Hard Glue is mainly used for outdoor rental LED displays ≥ P3.91.
Unlike Dot Glue, Hard Glue fully encapsulates the LED module with high-hardness epoxy resin, greatly improving structural protection.
Guide Visual’s P3.91 outdoor rental LED display achieved up to 12.74kg static push resistance in actual testing.
This technology is ideal for:
Hard Glue significantly reduces LED damage caused by accidental collisions during transport and setup.

For modern rental LED displays, anti-collision performance is becoming increasingly important.
Dot Glue offers a cost-effective solution for small-pitch displays, while Hard Glue provides much stronger protection for outdoor rental LED screens.
Guide Visual continues to improve LED durability through advanced protection technologies designed for demanding live event environments.
